1. Who We Are

  • Parking Chester provides a secure car parking area in Chester city centre.
  • We offer pre-booked parking spaces, season tickets, and pay-on-arrival options.
  • We operate under UK parking laws and local Chester parking regulations.

2. Use of the Car Park

  • Parking Chester only provides parking spaces for cars, motorcycles, and light vehicles.
  • All vehicles must be parked fully within marked bays.
  • Accessible parking spaces are available, but a valid blue badge must be displayed.
  • Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis unless pre-booked online.
  • Parking is only permitted during the paid period or within the validity of a season ticket.
  • Vehicles must not block entrances, exits, other vehicles, or fire access routes.
  • Overnight parking is allowed, but you are responsible for securing your vehicle.
  • You must not sleep in your vehicle or use the car park for any activity other than parking.
  • Abandoned vehicles may be removed, and removal costs will be charged to the owner.

3. Pre-booking and Season Tickets

  • You can pre-book parking spaces through the Parking Chester website.
  • A pre-booked parking space gives you the right to park within the car park but does not guarantee a specific parking bay.
  • Season tickets are available for monthly and longer periods. These allow unlimited access during the valid dates but do not guarantee a specific bay.
  • Season tickets are assigned to a single vehicle. You must update us if you change your vehicle.
  • Pre-booking and season ticket fees must be paid in full before use.

4. Payment and Charges

  • Parking fees are displayed on the Parking Chester website and at the car park entrance.
  • Payment can be made online through pre-booking, using ticket machines at the car park, or by purchasing a season ticket.
  • Failure to pay for parking may result in a parking charge notice (PCN).
  • Any unpaid charges may be passed to a third-party debt recovery agency, with additional costs applied.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Pre-booked parking can be cancelled up to 24 hours before arrival for a full refund.
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the booking time are non-refundable.
  • Season tickets cannot be refunded after purchase unless under exceptional circumstances, subject to Parking Chester’s discretion.
  • Refunds will be processed within seven working days using the original payment method.

6. Car Park Safety and Security

  • Parking Chester car park is monitored by CCTV surveillance 24/7 to help deter crime and protect vehicles.
  • Security staff regularly patrol the parking area, but we do not guarantee constant supervision.
  • Parking Chester is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to your vehicle or belongings while parked.
  • Drivers are responsible for locking their vehicles and securing their valuables.

7. Driver Conduct and Responsibilities

  • All drivers must follow speed limits and drive carefully within the car park.
  • Drivers must respect other users and avoid blocking other vehicles.
  • Any damage to other vehicles, car park property, or equipment must be reported to Parking Chester staff immediately.
  • Dangerous driving, verbal abuse, or anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in refusal of future access.

8. Liability

  • Parking Chester will not be responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of vehicles or personal belongings.
  • Parking Chester is not liable for delays, closures, or unavailability of parking spaces due to events beyond our control.
  • Parking Chester is not responsible for any fines, clamping, or towing charges caused by illegal parking.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

  • Parking Chester collects personal information when you pre-book parking or purchase a season ticket.
  • Your details are used only for booking, payment, and customer service.
  • Parking Chester will not share your data with third parties unless required by law.
  • CCTV footage is recorded for security purposes and may be shared with law enforcement if required.
